This will enable prescribers to deliver advice on the appropriate control of liver fluke with particular emphasis on the right active at the right time. The cost of Liver fluke on welfare and production will also be covered. There will be an opportunity to ask Philip Skuce questions at the end of the webinar.
Dr Philip Skuce; Principal Scientist – Moredun Research Institute, Edinburgh
Dr Skuce has worked at the Moredun Research Institute for over 20 years on various aspects of the sustainable control of parasitic helminths (worms & fluke) in livestock. His particular research interests include improved diagnosis in the host animal and the environment, vaccination studies and the detection and management of anthelmintic resistance. He is also the Institute’s spokesperson on livestock and climate change and the Scottish Environment Food and Agriculture Research Institutes (SEFARI) Knowledge Exchange Sectorial Lead for livestock.
